Mumbai Indians have announced three replacement signings for their IPL squad on Tuesday bringing in Jonny Bairstow, Richard Gleeson, and Charith Asalanka to replace Will Jacks, Ryan Rickelton, and Corbin Bosch, who are departing for national duties after the team's final league game.English wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow joins the squad at Rs 5.25 crore as a replacement for Will Jacks. The pace bowler has been acquired at a reserve price of Rs 1 crore to bolster the team's bowling department.

Sri Lankan cricketer Charith Asalanka will replace Corbin Bosch, joining the squad at a reserve price of Rs 75 lakhs. The all-rounder adds depth to MI's roster for the crucial playoff stage.

The three new signings will be available for selection from the playoff stage onwards, contingent on Mumbai Indians qualifying for the knockout phase of the tournament.These strategic replacements come as the original players depart for their respective national commitments following Mumbai Indians' last league game of the season.

MI can qualify for the next stage of the competition if they beat Delhi Capitals on Wednesday at the Wankhede Stadium in their virtual knockout match in the league stage.
