MP minister: BJP refused entry to Cong father-son

BHOPAL: BJP state minister Kailash Vijayvargiya made a stunning claim in

Chhindwara

on Tuesday that

Congress

stalwart

Kamal Nath

and his son, local MP Nakul, wanted to join BJP but the saffron camp refused because of strong opposition from the state unit.
Vijayvargiya is BJP’s election minder for Chhindwara, the lone surviving Congress bastion in MP that BJP is determined to vanquish.

Without naming Kamal Nath and Nakul, he made it clear which “father-son” he was referring to.
“The party does not need you. You have earned a lot of money over there (in Congress). You remain there because by accepting you, BJP’s image will be tarnished,” Vijayvargiya said at a BJP workers’ meeting in Amarwara assembly segment of Chhindwara Lok Sabha seat.
