MP government leaves rape survivor in the lurch

and her family have been left in the

lurch

by Madhya Pradesh government, which promised to take care of her

education

but has not paid her

fees

for the past four years, reports Litha Achari. The private school in Indore - where the survivor and her elder sister were admitted by government in 2018 - has sent a Rs 14 lakh dues notice to the Indore collector and district education department, with a copy sent to the family for 'information'. Then CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced that

MP government

would bear her educational expenses but the school said it has not received any payment since 2019.
