Mom, child hit and killed by school bus in Mamaroneck: police

MAMARONECK, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 6-year-old boy and his mother were hit and killed by a school bus in Westchester County Thursday, police said.

The child and his 43-year-old mother were fatally struck in Mamaroneck, according to police.

Police described the incident as a “tragic accident” and said the 68-year-old bus driver is cooperating with the investigation. No charges are pending at this time, authorities said.
