THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A man was stabbed to death during a domestic dispute in a Bronx apartment Monday night, according to police and sources.
Officers found Dwayne Valentine, 40, with a stab wound to the chest in his home at 2525 Grand Ave. at around 11:07 p.m., authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sources said Valentine and a woman got into a fight before the attack. It was unclear how the victim and the attacker knew each other.
The woman was taken into custody and charges were pending, police said.
There have been 80 murders citywide as of April 20 this year, down from 113 in 2024, according to NYPD data.
