Man hit with stone during altercation amid Holi celebration in Dombivali

THANE: A man sustained injuries in

Dombivali

of Thane district, after being assaulted during Holi celebrations, a police official said on Monday.
The incident took place on Sunday night in Cheranagar locality when 20-year-old college student Vishal Babbu Kanojia was assaulted.
According to an official from the Manpada police station, the attack ensued after an individual accused him of throwing a stone.

"Vishal was hit by a stone during the

altercation

. No one has been arrested and further probe is underway," senior inspector SD Palve said.
