BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was arrested and faces attempted murder charges on suspicion of pushing another man onto the subway tracks in Brooklyn.
Andrew Pashimin, 19, was escorted out of a police station in Coney Island, Brooklyn on Tuesday.
"He said some mean things to me before I arrived at the station," Pashimin could be heard saying on camera while he was walked by police.
He was arrested in connection with pushing a 33-year-old man onto the tracks at the Atlantic Avenue - Barclays Center subway station on Dec. 7, 2024.
Police say the 33-year-old had gotten into an argument with Pashimin while waiting on the D and N train platform.
That’s when the 33-year-old was pushed onto the tracks, according to authorities. Sources tell PIX11 News that Pashimin was also armed with a knife.
