A 47-year-old engineer from Thane, Maharashtra, was booked for uttering the word 'bomb' at Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) during frisking on March 28. On April 5, FIR was registered against
Sanjay Pai
based on a complaint filed by an airline staff after obtaining court permission. Accor-ding to the complaint to KIA police, when the staff was checking his bag as part of the frisking process, Pai told them there was a bomb inside.
The staff alerted Central Industrial Security Force officials.
Pai was detained for interrogation and released later. Pai is said to have told KIA police that he was irritated by multiple levels of frisking.
