MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was arrested after commandeering a tugboat and sailboat down the Hudson River early Thursday, according to the NYPD.

The 22-year-old man jumped into a tugboat at Pier 66 and tried to operate it around 2:30 a.m., but got stuck near Pier 64, according to authorities.

He then got into a sailboat that was attached by a buoy in the Hudson River, police said. While trying to operate the mast of the sailboat, he floated down to Pier 51, according to authorities.
