Man arrested after headless torso found in the Bronx: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A man was charged with murder after a headless torso was found in a Bronx apartment on Wednesday, police said.

Sheldon Robinson, 48, was charged with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon, according to the NYPD.

Police found the man’s torso with the legs attached while conducting a wellness check at 979 Summit Ave. at around 8:30 p.m., authorities and sources said on Wednesday. EMS pronounced the man, 44, dead at the scene.

The victim has not been identified.
