. As the film completes the 10th day, February 24, it has managed to enter the
Rs 50-crore club
.
The makers have confirmed that the film has crossed Rs 50 crore at the
global box office
collection. “#Bramayugam crosses 50 Crores in Global Box Office Collections!” the makers said, in their social media post.
Helmed by Rahul Sadasivan, ‘Bramayugam’ is a mystery thriller starring Mammootty in the lead role. Actors Arjun Ashokan, and Sidharth Bharathan play crucial roles in the film. Actors Amalda Liz and Manikandan Achary too are part of the cast. The film is completely shot in black-and-white format.
Our critic ranked the film 3.5 out of 5 and wrote, “Mammootty seems to have thrown a challenge to Malayalam filmmakers to give him roles that push him and audiences out of their comfort zones. And for his part, he goes all out to create characters that surprise, fascinate, and leave us awestruck.”
