. Malaika’s ensemble, embellished with handwoven Lucknowi embroidery, reflected the essence of Archana’s Ainna collection, paying tribute to Indian weaves and artisanal craftsmanship.

The beautiful dress was paired with Lavie Luxe’s embellished potli, adorned with intricate embroidery pattern.
The actress who’s always a hit at fashion shows was seen enjoying her walk as musician Raghav Sachar performed live. She was also seen grooving to the beats. Sharing her experience, Malaika said, “There was the walk and a bit of dancing… so it was a mix of everything. Walking with live music where Raghav was playing acoustic was very different for me. It felt more enjoyable than the normal walk.”
So, was it all choreographed or did she do it impromptu? “I was all impromptu on ramp. It wasn’t choreographed at all. They just told me Raghav is singing live and I should just go and have a ball of a time on the ramp. I personally feel that you should always be spontaneous because the more you kind of rehearse it in your head it just never pans out like that.”

Malaika who was last seen in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11 as a celebrity judge has done numerous ramp walks. Ask her what’s the one thing that goes on in her mind before hitting the stage and she says, “The one thing in my head just before I step on the ramp, even today, is that I shouldn’t trip! Yes, I am paranoid even today… before I hit the ramp, I check my shoes and my outfit if everything is fitting me well.”
