Maidaan advance booking: Ajay Devgn’s sports drama jumps by nearly 90 % to collect Rs 27.5 lakhs for day 1

, the driving force behind Indian football's golden era from 1952 to 1962.The film was earlier slated to release on 10th April, but is now releasing on 11th with paid premieres on 10th April.

The shift in date happened because of the change in the date of Eid.
As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the booking for the film has now opened up for over 3300 shows and has sold nearly 1300 tickets which is a more than 100 % jump in the last 24 hours. The total advance collection of the film currently stands at Rs 27.50 lakhs, a more than 90% jump from yesterday’s collection of Rs 14.94 lakhs. In fact the makers also held the press screening for the film and has been receiving favorable reviews from the critics which will surely help in more audience coming to watch the film. Few days ago, it was announced that Maidaan will be available in

IMAX format

and it has currently got 24 shows till now, and has sold 94 tickets across the country.
Maidaan is clashing with
