Homegrown Automaker Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to
launch
the new
Mahindra XUV 3XO
on April 29, 2024. The
XUV 3XO
is essentially a
facelifted version
of the XUV 300 and this is the first major update since the SUV’s launch in 2019. The new XUV 3XO will receive a major exterior makeover with a re-designed dashboard layout with additional features.
Ahead of the launch, the company has released a short teaser that gives us a glimpse of the exterior, interior and features.
The overall silhouette will remain the same but it will get re-designed front and rear fascias that are heavily inspired by Mahindra’s
BE line-up of SUVs
. At the front, it gets chrome-finished triangular embellishments in the grille, flanked by updated headlight clusters and fang-shaped LED DRLs.
It will also get a scuff plate at the front with fog lamps and at the rear, it boasts a re-designed tailgate with connected LED taillights and a taller bumper. In the middle, it gets the “XUV 3XO” moniker along with Mahindra’s “Twin Peaks” logo.
The teaser also shows that the new 3XO will get a
panoramic sunroof
and XUV 400 EV-inspired dashboard layout. It’s expected to get a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with c wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto,
AdrenoX connected car tech
, cruise control, 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, rear AC vents, type-C USB outlets and more.
Regarding safety, it’s expected to come with six airbags, all-four disc brakes, ISOFIX mounts, traction control, ESP, TPMS, front and rear sensors, rear parking camera and more. Mechanically, the XUV 300 will remain unchanged and will continue to be offered with a 115 hp, 300 Nm 1.5-litre turbo diesel, 110 hp, 200 Nm 1.2-litre turbo petrol and a Turbosport variant with 130 hp, 230 Nm 1.2-litre turbo petrol. Gearbox options will include a 6-speed manual or an AMT automatic.
