BHOPAL: The
state
may experience light showers at a few places on Saturday, while may witness rainfall between April 8 and April 9, the
Met department
has forecast.
There will be a clear sky in Bhopal and dry
weather
will prevail on Saturday, as per the Met department's forecast. Day and night
temperature
would be around 38 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius, respectively, while average wind speed will be 14 km per hour on Saturday.
In the forecast for the state, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with lightning and light rain in Neemuch, Mandsaur, Sheopurkalan and Morena. The weather would be dry over remaining parts of the state with possibility of no large change, the Met officials said.
A fresh western disturbance is to hit Himalayan region around April 10 and its impact over the state would get clear as the system approaches closer, the Met officials said. The temperatures would shoot up once the system clears.
Bhopal on Friday recorded a maximum temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius, which was at the normal mark, while night temperature in the city was 22 degrees Celsius, a degree more than normal mark. Wind direction in the city was westerly and south westerly while average wind speed was close to fourteen km per hour. Maximum temperature over most places in the state remained under the 40 degrees mark.
