Lenaa has now opened up about why she decided to break the news soon after PM Modi announced the four astronauts for the Gaganyaan mission.
Speaking to Times Now, Lenaa divulged that she was there to witness the historic moment and also wanted to announce the news of their wedding, as she didn’t want any ambiguity or rumours.
Lenaa further stated that, as a public figure and an actor who has been working in the industry for 25 years, she felt like she was obligated to share the news with the media and her fans. “I think it is also my responsibility to the media and to my fans to let them know that there is no ambiguity and there are no rumours spreading around because I was present at the ceremony yesterday. So I didn't want speculations, discussions, or confusions regarding anything,” she said.

It is a historic moment of pride for our country, our state of Kerala, and me personally. In order to maintain the officially required confidentiality, I was waiting for this announcement to let you know that I got married to Prasanth on January 17, 2024, in a traditional ceremony through an arranged marriage.”
