Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay
's only order on Monday urged
Calcutta HC CJ TS Sivagnanam
to consider a
vigilance report
against an
East Midnapore district judge
and "take steps in accordance with law". The judge rose at 2.47 pm, ending a "29-year-old" bond with the HC, first as an advocate and six years (from May 2018) as a judge. Cases being heard by Justice Gangopadhyay will be heard by Justice Arindam Mukherjee from Tuesday.
