Taking to social media on Sunday, Kriti Kharbanda unveiled a series of joyous snapshots from their Haldi ceremony, offering a refreshing departure from conventional rituals.

Instead of the customary application of Haldi, the couple opted for an 'unconventional' approach by applying '

Multani mitti

', a natural skincare remedy, on each other.
In her caption, Kriti explained the rationale behind their unconventional choice, mentioning that the custom-made Multani mitti pack was specifically crafted for them to ensure a radiant glow for the

bride and groom

during the ceremony.

"Hamari haldi thodi unconventional thi. Haldi ki ek chutki for Sagan in a pack of Multani mitti, created especially for Pulkit and I, keeping our skin in mind coz bride and groom have to glow na," she captioned the post.

Amidst the festivities, Kriti also shared a candid moment of Pulkit Samrat being playfully tossed into a pool by their friends to rinse off the Multani mitti. However, Kriti amusingly revealed that attempts to replicate the gesture with her were thwarted by a friend, earning gratitude in her post.

She wrote in the post, "big props to the person who held me back while the others threw pulkit into the pool :) I’m grateful!"

The couple wed on March 16, after years of dating. According to reports, sparks flew between the two while on the sets of their film projects, including 'Veerey Ki Wedding', 'Taish', and 'Pagalpanti'.
