for 'Sadar', and the film was released for the 2022 Diwali. The
spy thriller
transformed into a huge hit, and the makers announced the film's sequel at the success meet of the 2022 release. Now, the latest update is that '
Sardar 2
' is to commence soon, and the film is going to be the most expensive film of Karthi, according to a report from Pinkvilla.
PS Mithran has reportedly completed the script work for '
Sardar
2', and the film is planned to be made in multiple languages. 'Sardar 2' might also have a Hindi version to give
Karthi
a grand debut in Bollywood.
The
shooting
of 'Sardar 2' will commence in July, while almost half of the film has been planned to be shot in overseas locations in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. 'Sardar 2' will also be shot in sets erected at respective film cities in Chennai and Hyderabad. 'Sardar' had Karthi playing a dual role as a father and son, also a spy and a cop, respectively.
Raashi Khanna
played the female lead, and the gorgeous actress is likely to be retained for the sequel as well. But we have to wait to hear an official update about 'Sardar 2' to know more about the sequel to the 2022

Karthi is currently filming parallelly for his films with directors
Nallan Kumarasamy
