Imtiaz Ali's '

Jab We Met

' is perhaps considered one of the best performances of

Kareena Kapoor Khan

and

Geet

as a character has proven to be quite iconic. While Kareena keeps getting praises for her role, the actress revealed recently about the one advice which she would like to give Geet. She also spoke about her reaction when the film re-released in theatres recently!
Kareena who is gearing up for 'Crew' spoke on Ranveer Allahabadia's podcast, that she was getting videos from the friends about the way people were reacting to the film in theatres.

She added that it was so good to see people reciting the dialogues of 'Jab We Met' as if they were reading a book. She admitted that very few films have managed to make the kind of impact which Jab We Met did.
She aso has an advice for Geet today! Kareena said that the character had that longevity because she did everything from the heart but today everyone thinks from their brains! So, sometimes Geet should think from her brains because sometimes it's important. Somehow, Geet is always thinking from her heart and that's why people are connecting to her till date, but even the Gen Z and everyone today, thinks from their mind in the 2020s! Geet was from pre social media era, expressed Kareena.
Amidst all these new age films, Kareena also admitted missing those love stories. "I don’t know where have they gone. Where are all those love stories gone? Where are those Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol moments where are those? I also miss those…,” admitted Bebo adding that now everyone is just watching action and she hopes that people will start watching comedies. Like their their 'Crew' which is releasing this week.
'Crew' stars Tabu and Kriti Sanon alongside Kareena. The film is directed by Rajesh Krishnan.
