is set to be rested for the upcoming fourth Test in Ranchi, which commences from February 23, a Cricbuzz report stated.
The decision to rest Bumrah is part of workload management of the Indian team.
The Indian team is expected to leave Rajkot for Ranchi on Tuesday and Bumrah is unlikely travel with the side for the fourth Test.

Bumrah's participation in the fifth and final Test in Dharamsala will depend on the the outcome of the Ranchi Test, the report further said.

Bumrah is likely to travel to Ahmedabad on Monday via road from Rajkot -- a four hour journey.
Bumrah, the leading wicket-taker in the series -- 17 -- has already bowled close to 81 overs combined in the first three Tests in Hyderabad, Vizag and Rajkot.
Similar to Bumrah, pacer Mohammed Siraj was earlier rested for the second Test in Vizag.
As of now there is no update whether there will be a replacement bowler for Bumrah or not for the Ranchi game.

, who was earlier released from the squad for the third Test to participate in Ranji game for Bengal, is expected to rejoin the team in Ranchi.
