The stage was set on Thursday night for what seemed like an inevitable marriage between the Carolina Panthers and linebacker Jalon Walker. But unfortunately, someone got left at the altar.
Despite being considered the heavy favorite for Carolina's first-round pick of the 2025 NFL draft, Walker remained seated when the eighth overall selection rolled around. That call, instead, went to University of Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan—a surprise choice in the eyes of many.
One of the many seemed to be Walker, who was watching on from his hometown of Salisbury, N.C. And by the looks of the following clip, he didn't appear too happy about being passed up on . . .

— Cam Gaskins (@CamGaskinsTV) April 25, 2025Walker, however, still ended up in the NFC South. The University of Georgia standout was grabbed seven picks later, at the No. 15 spot, by the Atlanta Falcons.
So if Walker has a little aggression he needs to take out on the Panthers, at least he'll have two chances a year from here on out to do so.
