NEW DELHI: Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 13 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Punjab state. It comprises of entire Jalandhar district.
The constituency is reserved under Sc category and consist of nine assembly seats which are Phillaur (SC), Nakodar, Shahkot, Kartarpur (SC), Jalandhar West (SC), Jalandhar central, Jalandhar North, Jalandhar Cantt, Adampur (SC), Chabbewal (SC).

The literacy rate of the constituency is 73.97%.
In 2019, INC candidate Santokh Singh Chaudhary won the 2019 General Election with a victory margin of 19,491 votes, securing 3,85,712 votes. Santokh Singh Chaudhary defeated Charanjit Singh Atwal of the SAD, who got 3,66,221 votes. The constituency witnessed a significant voter turnout of 63.05% in 2019.
