Infant dies after being bit by puppy in Queens: Sources

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- An infant was found dead in Queens after she was bitten in the face by a puppy, sources told PIX11 News.

The one-month-old girl was found at Queensbridge Houses around 6:38 a.m. Tuesday morning, police said. She was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Sources told PIX11 a six-week-old German shepherd, pit bull mix had chewed on the child's face.

No arrests have been made related to the incident, police said.
