NEW YORK: A 24-year-old Indian, who completed her graduation last year was killed in a tragic car accident in the US state of Pennsylvania.

lost her life in a car accident in Pennsylvania on March 21, the consulateGeneral of India in New York said in a post on X on Saturday, expressing deep condolences to her family.
The consulatesaid it is in touch with Joshi's family and extending all possible assistance to transport her mortal remains to India at the earliest.
In a post on X, the Indian consulatein New York said, "Our deepest condolences to the family of Ms Arshia Joshi, a young professional, who lost her life in a tragic car accident in Pennsylvania on March 21. May her soul rest in eternal peace."
The volunteer-based nonprofit organization TEAM Aid also is actively involved in facilitating the transportation of Joshi's mortal remains to her family in Delhi.
TEAM Aid's core mission revolves around aiding members of the Indian community who encounter distressing circumstances such as accidents, suicides, homicides, or sudden deaths while in the US.
"Amidst a series of tragic incidents, our hearts are heavy with grief," TEAM Aid founder Mohan Nannapaneni reportedly said.
During the previous week alone, TEAM Aid has overseen the repatriation of the remains of five individuals to India and coordinated three local funerals, according to Nannapaneni.
Presently, Nannapaneni and his team are actively aiding numerous additional families in arranging for the transportation of their loved ones' mortal remains from the United States and Canada to India.
