KKR bowlers staged a tremendous comeback in the Indian Premier League. After getting smashed by Punjab in their previous fixture, KKR bowlers restricted DC to just 153 runs. Vaibhav Arora and Varun Chakravarthy spoke to the IPL website after their win against DC and revealed that the team was really hurt after conceding 262 runs against Punjab in their previous game.

KKR bowlers put in an incredible shift in the first innings against DC playing a crucial role in the side's 7-wicket win in the IPL at Eden Gardens. Vaibhav said that KKR showed incredible mettle to make a comeback after the PBKS game.

"We were hurt. We were very much hurt after we lost to PBKS while defending 261 runs. These things happen in cricket and what matters is how you come back from a loss like that," Vaibhav Arora said after the match.

KKR mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy spoke about the trend of high scoring games in the IPL and how the bowling unit have been left unprepared for the assault that they are facing in the majority of the matches.

"This season has definitely taken all the bowling units by a storm. The amount of runs that are being scored, the size of the boundaries, all those things have been playing a part," Varun Chakravarthy said in a video on the IPL website.

"Last game against PBKS few shots that Bairstow hit, any other ground, it would have gone to someone's hand," Chakravarthy further added.

CHakravarthy was named the player of the match for his 3-wicket spell. KKR pacer Vaibhav Arora was also proud of how the pacers set up the game for the rest of the bowlers in the first innings of the match.

"It was quite a satisfying game because we restricted the other team to 150, something that has not been happening in the tournament too often. I was able to execute my role of getting wickets in the powerplay, which made me very happy in today's game," Vaibhav concluded.

KKR are currently in the 2nd spot in the points table with 12 points from 9 games.
