BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Police are searching for a driver who crashed into a 32-year-old woman, killing her in Brooklyn on Saturday, according to the NYPD.
Police said the driver of a maroon Chevy was making turning onto Marcus Garvey Boulevard around 11:55 p.m. when he hit the woman, who was standing in the road.
The driver then fled the scene, leaving the woman in the street, according to authorities. Police said they crashed into two parked cars before getting out of the Chevy and running on foot.
The woman was taken to a local hospital where she died, according to authorities.
Police said no arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing, according to authorities.
