HD Revanna files 2nd bail plea after kidnapping FIR

’s father HD Revannafiled a second anticipatory bail petition before a court Friday, a day after a kidnapping case was registered against him, even as SIT probing the sleaze video scandal issued a second notice to the father-son duo to appear before it Saturday in connection with a sexual harassment case.
Hours before filing the second bail petition in the court, the former Karnataka minister withdrew the first plea moved in the same court in connection with the sexual harassment case.

His counsel said that non-bailable IPC sections 364A (abduction) and 364 (illegal confinement) have been invoked and there is the threat of his petitioner’s arrest, who is ready to appear before SIT in the sexual harassment case Saturday.
The court adjourned the hearing to Saturday.
SIT also sent a notice to Prajwal’s mother Bhavani, directing her to share details of the woman who had claimed that she was a close relative of Bhavani.
