, the first of its kind in India. The Electrolyser, developed entirely under the ‘

Make in India

’ initiative, is a breakthrough innovation that will accelerate India’s transition to a clean energy future.
Gujarat industries minister Balvantsinh Rajput unveiled the electrolyser at Sanand Global Expo, organised by Sanand Industries Association.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajput said,

This launch of India’s first indigenous Alkaline Electrolyser by Greenzo Energy is a significant step towards realizing the vision of Gujarat as the country’s Green Hydrogen Hub. Green hydrogen holds the promise of not only addressing our energy security concerns but also in aligning with our national goal of achieving net zero emissions. Gujarat is proud to be at the forefront of this green energy revolution.”
Sandeep Agarwal, CEO, Greenzo Energy India Ltd said,“Our indigenous 1 MW Alkaline Electrolyser is getting significant orders. As of now, we have an order book of Rs 1,200 crore. We are setting up a manufacturing unit with a capacity of 250 MW per year at Sanand GIDC. Green hydrogen, which is produced by splitting water using renewable energy, is a clean and renewable energy carrier that can be used for various applications such as transportation, power generation, and industrial processes.
The company also revealed its plans to manufacture up to 5 MW single stack of alkaline-based technology at its factory located in Sanand -2 industrial area, GIDC.
