Girl, 14, shot in the face in the Bronx: NYPD

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A 14-year-old girl was shot in the cheek early Sunday morning, according to the NYPD. 

The teenager was shot around 5:25 a.m. near the McKinley houses in the Bronx, police said.

She was taken to an area hospital in stable condition, police said. Police have not made any arrests on Sunday morning.

It was one of two shootings in New York City early Sunday morning. In Brooklyn, a 46-year-old man was also shot in the face in an unrelated shooting, police said.
