Flooding, wind damage expected as storm soaks tri-state area

FREEPORT, Long Island (PIX11) – Rain and wind are leaving behind a wake of destruction across the tri-state area Friday during the morning commute.
The strongest winds are expected on Long Island, according to PIX11 meteorologists. No major power outages have been reported as of 6 a.m., according to PSEG Long Island.
Flooding was already seen Thursday night in Howard Beach, Queens. The worst of the storm is expected to come through Friday morning.
