on Sunday have started receiving regular flights. Regional operator

FlyBig

on Monday said it operated the launch flights on Lucknow-Azamgarh and Lucknow-Aligarh routes under the subsidised ude desh ka aam naagrik (UDAN) scheme. According to the airline’s chief Captain Sanjay Mandavia, flights from Lucknow to Chitrakoot and Shravasti will start from Tuesday. Moradabad flights will take some time, he said.
“We have got three turboprop Twin Otters as of now. Ten are on order and the fourth one will join our fleet next month. To start with, the flights between Lucknow and the five cities (which got airports (Sunday) will be thrice weekly. Their one-way fares have been kept between Rs 1,099 and Rs 1,999 (taxes extra),” Mandavia said, adding, “Four Twin Otters will be based in Lucknow for these flights.” A trained pilot, Mandavia’s FlyBig started operations in January 2021 out of Indore to Raipur and Ahmedabad.
