NEW YORK (PIX11) – The clock is ticking to file taxes for the 2025 season.
This is the final weekend to file taxes before next Tuesday’s deadline, and to help New Yorkers get their filings done, the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance is highlighting free resources available online.
“The resources available at www.tax.ny.gov can help taxpayers quickly and easily meet their filing obligations and receive any refunds they’re owed,” said Acting Commissioner Amanda Hiller.
New Yorkers who made less than $200,000 in 2024 may be able to use Direct File, while anyone who made $84,000 or less may qualify to use Free File.
