Exclusive - Riya Sharma shared how she is playing her real life character on screen; says "Tara is very similar to me"

and her versatility, recently opened up in an exclusive conversation about her journey in the industry, the roles she has played throughout her career and the experiences from the respective roles.
During one of her interactions with us, we asked her “Which of your characters that you've done in the past has given you the greatest joy?” To which she enthusiastically replied, “There are characters like

Tara

,

Kalki

and

Pesaurik

.

But the greatest joy I had by doing the role was Tara” which was obvious because her ability to connect better with this role than others is clearly visible on screens.
She averred, "She was similar to me” which is one of the reasons she really enjoys playing the character. She further shared,“Also how patiently she handles everything. That I really noticed. Even after thousands of challenges Tara comes across in the show, she never loses the patience which justifies how bold the character of Tara is and It gives me the greatest joy performing the role. It feels fulfilling to portray someone who is incredibly calm and patient which showcases grace as well."
But apart from the role of Tara, she also talked about how challenging it had been to play the role of Kalki, which did not require her to invest her time but also her emotions, to make the character and the scenes more intense. “The challenges I've faced by doing kalki were also unmatchable. I have put in a lot of hard work to bring the character to life."
