I am ignoring all these rumours. There is no truth to this. When these reports came out, Poonam and I made a
public appearance
and were spotted at a film’s premiere. I think action speaks louder than words. Usse bada proof kya he hosakta hai…With God’s grace sab kuch sahi chal raha hai (everything is fine between Poonam and me). Just pray for both of us that everything goes great in future also. I feel relationships are a very sensitive matter and topic and we need to handle it very sensitively. We have to handle it with lots of love, care and understanding. Relationships take a lot of work. Like we work hard and struggle to make our name, to run our house and get the love of the people, similarly to make a relationship work, we have to continuously work towards it. We are doing it.

As an actor somewhere I knew that I will have to face this kind of situation. It is part and parcel of a celebrity's life. No actor or celebrity in the world can fully ignore, or can control it. Aisa ho he nahi sakta ke being a celebrity app ke saath aisa Na ho… There have been many actors who have faced these kinds of speculations and rumours and no one can control it. We know it is wrong but we can’t control the speculations.
How did the family react to the divorce rumours - They will obviously believe us
It is not difficult for the family because for them the only thing that matters is that my wife and I are together. We speak to our families two times a day and they know we are happy together, with each other with God’s grace. Rest nothing matters to them. They will obviously believe us and not what the world is saying.

Sanjay on his divorce rumours being called publicity gimmick
If people think it was a publicity stunt let them think that way because I can’t help them. My job as an actor is to showcase my art and craft. I will keep doing it and I feel I should be judged for my acting and not for these rumours or for my personal life.
