Shakti Arora

, known for his role in "Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin," recently spoke exclusively with ETimes TV. He expressed his interest in exploring

OTT platforms

but clarified that he isn't open to doing

intimate scenes

on-screen.
Speaking about his reservations regarding doing bold scenes, Shakti said, "I feel I’m Salman Khan as far as doing intimate scenes are concerned.

I don’t like kissing on-screen, I’ve never done it. Nor do I like doing intimate scenes on-screen. I feel Indians look pathetic doing intimate scenes. While watching such scenes it feels as if they are letching. But when I see firangs doing the same scenes, it doesn’t get awkward. When the Indian actors do it on OTT I don’t like watching OTT shows because of this reason it feels very gross."
Shakti Arora expressed his happiness about OTT platforms having censorship measures in place. "I am happy that there is censorship happening on OTT also. There should be a guideline because we belong to Indian culture, civilization and we should not do these things. We should represent our

Indian culture

and show people what we represent. If the West is doing it, we should let them do it as it is their culture. But here also bold subjects are being sold in the name of modernization and people enjoy watching them. Personally, I don’t like it and endorse it."
The actor mentioned that he is against lovemaking scenes but also added a "never say never" perspective, indicating that his stance on such scenes might evolve in the future. "I am not open to doing it and I don’t like it. But never say never if tomorrow I don’t have work and I’m offered a huge amount (laughs) I might do it. But frankly speaking I don’t want to do it and I’ll try my best to not do such scenes on-screen," he concluded.

Shakti Arora on if he is looking forward to embracing fatherhood: No, I & my wife need time
