Esha Deol is celebrating 20 years of ‘Yuva’ and ‘Aayutha Ezhuthu’. The actor, who was a part of both the Hindi and the Tamil version of the Mani Ratnam film, shared a few pictures along with a note.

While the first picture with with her ’Yuva’ co-star Ajay Devgn, the second is with Suriya. She wrote, “20 years of Yuva & Aayutha Ezhuthu . Mani sir you are magic. Working with you on both the films in Tamil and Hindi was an absolute pleasure, a dream come true and extremely satisfying as an artist to have you direct me (sic).”

She added, “Both my co stars @ajaydevgn and @actorsuriya were just perfect and wonderful to work with. I remember this was the first time I worked with AJ ( Ajay ) and how mani sir & I would talk to each other in Tamil all the time while discussing the scenes which left Ajay wondering what on earth was being said. Suriya I remember as a man of few words but once the cameras rolled we both were totally on fire in character full of life. (sic).”

She also mentioned, “The 3rd image I share is of the Premiere of yuva at Iifa in Singapore 22/5/2004 ( the entire star cast on stage ) Can’t believe it’s been 20 years of these 2 fantastic films I’m proud of being part of. Much gratitude (sic).”

Earlier, celebrating 20 years of ‘Yuva’, Amitabh Bachchan shared a post on Abhishek’s performance. Hailing it, he recalled how Abhishek was also given awards for his performance in the film. Vivek Oberoi also spoke about suffering fracture while shooting the film. 'Yuva' was released in theatres on May 22, 2004.
