An image from the same match has gone viral, showing Munawar Faruqui taking a selfie with Elvish Yadav. The photo went viral, and Elvish was questioned about his Hinduism. Elvish made a statement stating that he could not just pick a quarrel with Munawar in public and that both were behaving pleasantly with each other.

However, Elvish has now offered a public apology, captioning the video with 'I am sorry.'
