Elon Musk

has a new designation at X (formerly Twitter). Along with the owner of the social media platform,

Musk

is also the

CTO

. No, it’s not the chief technology officer, as we know when it comes to titles in the tech industry. Not only his name, but the billionaire has also updated his location.
Musk now calls himself the ‘

Chief Troll Officer

’ and has changed his profile bio on X.

Additionally, he now seems to have shifted his base to “Trōllheim” (wherever that is on Earth or Mars?).
He announced his new designation via a post. At the time of writing, his post has amassed 13.1 million views and over 60,000 likes.

Ever since he took charge of the company, he has been mired in controversies. From changing the name to his designation to overhauling the platform and changing its brand identity. He has also made headlines for making sarcastic comments to posts and even trolling people. Musk has, in the past, posted scores of memes on several topics and events.
His post sparks meme fest
His post announcing the new designation attracted responses which snowballed into a meme fest.

While one user commented, “nice one sir! le epic xD. you just won the internet for today”, the other one said, “Chief Meme Officer.”
“Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Chief Trolling Officer. Please put on your seatbelts and your trays in their upright position, it's about to get,” one user said.

In October 2022, soon after taking over the company post $44 billion acquisition, Musk changed his bio to "Chief Twit". He then changed the bio to "Twitter complaint hotline operator" a few weeks later. In January 2023, he changed his bio to “state-affiliated” media after mentioning that the social media platform should have that label.
