NASSAU COUNTY, N.Y. (PIX11) – A proposal to ban transgender athletes from competing in girls’ sports at Nassau County facilities will go to a vote Monday.
The legislature, which has a 12-7 Republican majority, will vote on the proposed ban that has already faced challenges as an executive order.
New York LGBT Network President David Kilmnick called the proposal "egregious."
