Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has responded to Rapper Naseeb's criticism of him. Naseeb posted a picture of the 'Chamkila' star without a turban, stating that Diljit doesn't deserve to be addressed as a Punjabi since he "doesn't know how to tie a turban."

Naseeb shared an alleged picture of the Punjabi singer Diljit, showing him with short hair. Along with it, the rapper wrote, "You’re Not Punjab... Go and learn how to tie a turban (sic)."

Naseeb's post about Diljit came after the singer grabbed the limelight for the "largest ever Punjabi show outside India." His Vancouver tour, Dil-Luminati, lit up BC Place stadium last month, captivating over 54,000 fans.

In response to Naseeb's post, Diljit penned a note on his Instagram story. Extending warm wishes to the rapper, the actor-singer wrote in Punjabi, "Veere, baut pyar tuanu (Brother, love to you)." He wished for Naseeb's success and reflected on the divine presence of the almighty in every human being.

After Diljit's post, Naseeb shared another post where he addressed the singer-actor and said he was only expressing his views and will delete it later.

This isn't the first time objections have been raised about Diljit's alleged short hair. When the first look of the actor's latest film 'Amar Singh Chamkila' was released, people questioned his short-hair look and were confused if Diljit cut his hair for the film. Director Imtiaz Ali clarified that this wasn't the case and the actor wore a wig for the film.

“I would not want to share his personal details, but yes, Diljit has worn a wig. That wig is like his turban only. He has not sacrificed a single hair for this film. Because he played a character and he knew how Chamkila looked, so he managed to look the part with a wig. He donned the look very sincerely and with very good intentions," Imtiaz Ali told Radio Nasha.

Diljit's latest film 'Amar Singh Chamkila' has received widespread acclaim, with everyone praising his portrayal of the slain Punjabi singer, Amar Singh Chamkila.
