film, Diljit's friend has made a shocking revelation about him.
An unnamed friend of his has said to Sunday Express Eye, that, "An intensely private person, little is known about his family but friends say his wife is an American-Indian and they have a son, and his parents live in Ludhiana." The article also claimed that his wife and son live in the US.
Diljit has always been very protective about his personal life and has never spoken about it. However, he recently had opened up on his relationship with his parents and rough childhood. He was forced to move out of his family village at the age of 11. He had said that his parents sent him to live with his uncle (mama ji) to give him a better standard of living but did not ask if he was okay with the decision. This move led to his broken bond with his parents. He added that he still respects them.
Earlier, even Kiara Advani had indirectly hinted that Diljit is
married
and has a son. During the promotions of 'Good Newwz', Kiara had said that the film was a new experience for her because among the other cast members - Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar and Diljit Dosanjh, she's the only one who does not have a baby in real life. So, it was a learning experience for her.
Meanwhile, Diljit is gearing for the release of 'Chamkila' on April 12. The film is based on the life of singer Amar Singh Chamkila.
