Dhawan, speaking at the post-match presentation, expressed his delight in the team's performance, particularly highlighting Shashank's match-winning innings.

Reflecting on the game, Dhawan remarked, "It was an amazing game, very very close, I'm glad the boys did the job. The plan was to give a good start but I got out unfortunately but we were around 60 runs at the end of the powerplay, we kept building partnerships and Shashank came in and played really well."

Despite a shaky start, with Dhawan himself departing early, PBKS managed to build crucial partnerships, with Shashank's innings of 61 runs in 29 balls being the standout performance.
