The CCTV footage at the time of the alleged assault on Swati Maliwal has not been found, said the Delhi Police. The footage that has been seized by the police shows a blank movement at the time of the incident, raising questions if the footage had been tampered with or deleted.
The Delhi Police arrested Bibhav Kumar, the personal assistant of Arvind Kejriwal, earlier in the day and his anticipatory bail plea was subsequently observed as becoming "infructuous" by a Delhi court.
It is alleged that Kumar assaulted Maliwal at the latter's residence on May 13.
