Ahead of the theatrical release of 'Crew', actor Kriti Sanon visited Delhi for the film's promotion. During the media interaction, the 'Mimi' actor shared that she could 'relate' to her 'Crew' character, which was a bit complex for her to play.

Kriti said, "I relate a lot to my character in the film, Divya, because she's nerdy, studious, a topper, a head girl, and I was all of those too. Sometimes she feels that she hasn't reached where she wanted to. I've also felt that way at some point in my life. So, she's a dreamer, and she's an achiever, and she's a go-getter. I think that's why I related to her."

The actor added that she liked not only her character, but also the entire film. She said, "For me, it was a fun film. It was well-written and well-etched in terms of all three characters. These were three strong women from different family backgrounds and different situations, coming together for a mad ride. And that's what I really enjoyed."

In this Rajesh A Krishnan directorial, Kriti, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu, portrays the role of a cabin crew member.

After playing an air-hostess, Kriti has 'lot more respect' for women who do the job. "I am extremely clumsy. So for me, I had to be really proper while playing an air hostess. I think their job is tougher than it looks, and they really take care of people. I think taking care of absolute strangers is amazing. And we did also go through a little bit of training because there's a particular way that they demonstrate the safety measures."

She added, "There's a particular way they stand before the demonstration. And how to open that door? That was a lot of fun and I have a lot more respect for them because I think their job is very tough."

Backed by Anil Kapoor, Digvijay Purohit, Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, 'Crew' also features Diljit Dosanjh. The heist comedy also stars comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma in a cameo role.
