Constable from Odisha on poll duty in TN dies

Bhubaneswar: Constable Pramod Kumar Majhi of fifth Indian Reserve Battalion, Boudh, died in Tamil Nadu’s Trichy on Sunday night. He was on

bandobust duty in Tamil Nadu. As many as 30 companies of

Odisha

Police have gone to Tamil Nadu for election duty.
Majhi, a native of Dharmabandha village in Nuapada district, had joined Odisha Police in 2009. He sustained severe injury after a vehicle hit him behind on April 4.

He was rushed to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. Odisha DGP
