Collage student commits suicide in Hyderabad; suicide note found

HYDERABAD: A

PUC first-year student

of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Basara died by suicide on Thursday evening.
The 17-year-old female student had returned to the campus on Thursday afternoon and skipped study hours, according to officials.
The Student attempted to end her life at the hostel. She was immediately shifted to the health center, where she was declared dead by doctors.

As per the

suicide note

, the girl has taken the extreme step as she was moved by the death of her relative.
S Venkata Ramana, the vice chancellor of RGUKT, stated that the student's death was due "to personal reasons" and expressed shock over the tragic incident.
The university has handed over the student's body to her family.
