YS Jagan Mohan Reddy
inaugurated various development works worth approximately Rs.861 crore at his home constituency
Pulivendula
in YSR Kadapa district on Monday.
YS Jagan said the comprehensive development of Pulivendula will stand as a model to replicate for the rest of the state.
Jagan inaugurated Dr YSR govt
medical college
and
general hospital
which were established by spending Rs 500 crore from the
Nabard funds
.
The bed strength at the hospital is 627 and the medical students' enrolment strength will be 150 every year. OPD, IPD, and the 24/7 trauma blocks were also inaugurated.
CM also inaugurated Banana processing unit and Banana pack house established at a cost of Rs.20 crore. Pre cooling chambers and cold storage facilities are also available.
Jagan also inaugurated a mini secretariat complex established at a cost of Rs 38 crore, Pulivendula model town project works and road junctions, shopping complexes, a memorial park and a lakefront at his home constituency.
CM also inaugurated Aditya Birla textiles unit which is expected to provide employment to 2100 people and entails an investment of Rs 175 crore.
Deputy CM SB Amzath Basha and other elected representatives took part.
