Cloudy skies, cool temps for the tri-state area

NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Expect another day of cloudy skies and cool temperatures.

A shower is possible in some areas as well, especially before 1 p.m. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid-50s. Some areas in northwestern New Jersey and the Hudson Valley might not get out of the 40s.

The region will stay on the wet side Sunday night into Monday morning as another area of rain moves through. The afternoon and evening are looking drier, but the clouds are likely to stay in place.

It will be quite chilly as well as temperatures struggle to get out of the 40s. Look for more cold conditions on Tuesday.
