CJI takes part in SVU law dept's decennial celebrations

Chief justice of India DY Chandrachud

stated that valid evaluation of the case ensures success in

legal profession

and not shouting or seeking more objections, a general misconception in prevalence.
Addressing the students of

Sri Venkateswara university

’s department of law on the

decennial celebrations

of the launch of integrated B.L., LL.B course in Tirupati on Tuesday, he asked the students to enjoy free thinking in the college life in those colleges that allow students to think freely.

“This generates the best lawyers
“When I was a law student like you, most of our discussions in the classroom and at our canteen in Delhi University revolved around global problems. We used to think that we had solutions to those problems”, he recalled.
Justice Chandrachud pointed out that success would embrace the one who listened to opponents carefully, used reason for justice and common sense. “I asked my lecturers difficult questions that often made them feel inconvenient. It is very easy to criticise the system by standing outside, but once you enter the system, it is difficult to take optimistic decisions”, he said.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. V Sreekanth Reddy, Registrar O Md Hussain, SVU College of arts principal G Padmanaban and honorary dean of law VRC Krishnaiah felicitated the Chief justice of India.
